Job Description

Job Title:  Earned Value Analyst

Working Pattern: Hybrid/Onsite 3 Days/week

Working location:  Indianapolis, IN

As an Earned Value Analyst for Rolls-Royce, you’ll play a supportive role within a cross functional team where you’ll undertake the collations, analysis and integration of program earned value data on the RRC/DPSI LiftSystem Programs. This is an opportunity for you to be responsible for individual projects and to deep dive into trend reporting, variance analysis, identifying anomalies and proposing corrective action if performance is outside of the specified requirements.

What you will be doing:

Here you will have the opportunity to work on the following:

  • Ensuring effective controls are implemented in accordance with the company management procedures but not limited to WBS/charge number maintenance, earned value analysis, and variance analysis to produce IPMRs and IPMDARs
  • Assisting the project team with the collation of project data and schedules for projects and contract amendments/variations and accurately reporting to relevant stakeholders in accordance with the defined timescales
  • Integration of multi-site earned value data for monthly submission to customer on behalf of Defense Products and Solutions, Inc (DPSI)
  • Supporting the processes, governance, and maintenance of project data in line with the RRC Management Control System Description (MCSD) and the EIA-748 D EVMS Standard
  • Performing ad-hoc reporting/data interrogation to support customer inquiries, program CAMs and overall program earned value analysis
  • Supporting Cost/Schedule Data Reports (CSDRs) to each program.

Basic Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree with 1+ year of finance or accounting or data analytics experience OR
  • A Master’s Degree or JD/Ph.D. OR
  • An Associate’s Degree with 3+ years of finance or accounting or data analytics experience
  • In lieu of a degree, 5+ years of experience in finance or accounting or data analytics
  • To qualify for this role, you must be a US Citizen

Preferred:

  • Project/Program management experience
  • Experience in earned value management or financial/data analytics
  • Dataset management
  • Experience with Excel, SAP, EVMS for Project, Microsoft Project, Encore Analytics Empower
